Working on Human Rights

NSP has been actively operating to defend and uphold human rights, specifically the rights of women and children. We are very active in growing awareness among many of the policy-makers and actors working amongst the overall masses. We are seeking to reform legal guidelines to remove social, legal, and political discrimination primarily based totally on gender, class, ethnicity, race, and religion. Through awareness building, lobbying, and mass communication, we perform advocacy at specific levels.

NSP works to promote awareness of human rights and perceive the trouble in protecting and taking part in human rights. Regularly interact in civil society debates in the media, our public campaigns, and advocacy work for legal reform. One of the primary focuses of NSP is the promotion of good governance. Without protecting human rights, making sure good governance is impossible, and vice versa, seminars, workshops, and discussion conferences, together with round table conferences with dailies, promote the issue of good governance.

We have a documentation group that maintains the organization updated with human rights abuses published in the foremost country-wide dailies. The work of the documentation unit is to accumulate and document relevant data for research purposes from each of the daily papers and private and organizational sources/contacts, together with human rights defenders.
