Food and Nutritious Items Distribution

NSP management has given top priority to the supply of affordable and best health services for its member and the overall mass as well. Health is considered one of the maximum important developmental factors with priority to addressing the fundamental needs of the poor. To materialize this NSP began its health services in many areas of Bangladesh by ensuring the best health care services for the poor and underprivileged people.

Different need-based activities on fitness and nutrition had been undertaken through NSP for focused participants with the help of different donors and therefore made NSP experience those. Message dissemination was additionally covered on specific breastfeeding, diarrhea prevention, and management, immunization, common childhood illness, micronutrients and value of diet diversification, food processing, storage and handling, hygiene and safe water, and rights related to family law. Under NSP the subsequent activities had been implemented:

• Supplementary food distribution among the program participants
• Ensuring the service for pregnant, lactating, adolescent, new couples, children, and others.
• Ensure safe water and sanitation to protect against any water-borne diseases
• Distribute powder milk to poor and underprivileged children.
